Line Cook The Growler Oxford, MS 38655 Overview We are a well-established bar and taproom located in the heart of Oxford, Mississippi, offering a wide selection of craft beers, including unique and local favorites, alongside pub-inspired fare. We are seeking an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. Experience with pizza preparation is a plus. Responsibilities Prepare and cook our menu offerings, including pizzas and pub-style options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist in inventory management by monitoring food supplies and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in menu planning and development as needed. Skills Prior experience as a cook, with pizza experience as a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills, including knife skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or dietary needs as required.
