COOKS WANTED
– New restaurant opening in the River Arts District (Asheville, NC) Crusco 348 Depot Street near Suite 190 compensation: Competitive Pay employment type: experience level: mid level job title: COOK Full-Time / Part-Time Crusco is a new restaurant guided by the seasons, farms and ingredients. We’re committed to thoughtful cooking, honest hospitality, and a constantly evolving menu that reflects curiosity, restraint and place. We are looking for a dedicated cook to join our small, passionate kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, seasonality and craft. You will work closely with the chef-owners and team to execute a changing menu with high attention to detail and deep respect for ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute dishes according to Crusco’s standards for taste, presentation, and technique
- Work all stations as needed, with flexibility and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Support daily prep and mise en place for service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
- Communicate effectively with the team
- Uphold a calm, respectful, and focused atmosphere in the kitchen
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of kitchen experience in a similar or ambitious environment
- A positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a small team and adapt in a fluid environment
- A willingness to learn and grow
