Pantry 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Canton, NC 28716 Join the exceptional team at the Pisgah Inn! Located at the Peak of the Beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! We are hiring for a professional Pantry for the rest of our season to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. This position is Seasonal. Our season is 4/1 to 11/1 each year. On site dorm room housing available shared with another employee. Ask about, if interested.

Responsibilities:

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, meat, or preparing sauces) Answer, report and follow the chef’s instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Must be able to life a required 50 lbs. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time Must be eligible to work in U.S.
