EXPERIENCED LINE COOK

at The Sailfish!

• POSITIONS ARE FULL & PART TIME

• JOB SUMMARY

  Cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also, perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

• Candidate must have one year of experience and be friendly, outgoing, and team oriented.
• Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The Sailfish at Marsh Creek Marine.
• Responsible for the quality of products served
• Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
• Availability to work Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial,4th of July and Labor Day holiday weekends is required. As a restaurant on the water accessible by boats, many choose these holidays to visit our restaurant with their families and friends. Making us a destination spot over Spring/Summer holidays.
