Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and methods is essential.
