• Breakfast/Lunch We are hiring line cooks to prep, cook and plate for morning shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Prepare a variety of dishes such as sandwiches and salads to order.  Follow proper plate presentation and set up for all dishes.  Handle, store and rotate all products properly.  Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.  Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.  Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.  Maintains a clean and sanitary work station.  Assists in food prep assignments.  Be familiar with a variety of cooking methods and be comfortable working with cooking equipment.  Have good knife skills.  Opens / Closes the kitchen properly and follows the opening / closing checklist for kitchen stations.

Qualifications:

 A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.  At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.  Be available for shifts starting as early as 6:00 am  Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.  Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, in an environment that could be warm/humid.  Have a positive attitude.  Be well organized and clean working.  Have good communication skills, work well with others and be able to follow instruction.  Fully understand and comply with all health and safety regulations’ ‘
