The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to menu planning and execution. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Skills Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight customers.
