Line Cook Jumpin’ Jay’s Fish Cafe 150 Congress Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Jumpin’ Jay’s Fish Cafe is looking for a full time line cook and oyster shucker to join our team. We are a local foodie enclave serving refined seafood in a sleek restaurant setting. We offer a positive, team-oriented work environment with room for growth.

Qualifications:

Strong leadership and problem solving capabilities Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn Ability to support our Executive Chef & Sous Chef and manage a team Manage kitchen operations while controlling food costs and labor costs Ability to produce quality dishes with accuracy, efficiency, and consistency Proficient knife skills Experienced in high volume and fast paced environments Fosters positive energy and professionalism Ability to problem solve Ability to create nightly specials and help with seasonal menu changes Can comply with and enforce safety and sanitation practices
