Line Cook/Prep Cook Tideline 9317 Amherst Avenue, Margate City, NJ 08402 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to excellence in food service. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with menu planning and ensure that all dishes are presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or dietary department setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong culinary skills with an ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A passion for cooking and helping others through quality food preparation. Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing menus or dietary needs.
