Here are a few things you can expectwhen you join our team as a Line Cook Follow all recipes andpractice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordereditems Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station ona daily basis Requisitioning and stocking of all required food,paper products, and condiments Handles, stores, and rotates allproducts properly Responsible for set-up, regular maintenance,cleaning, and breakdown of any machinery and equipment Responsiblefor maintaining stock, cutting, and storage of all perishablesdaily to ensure product quality Complete opening, on-going, andclosing checklists as required Takes responsibility for quality ofproducts served Perform general and specific cleaning tasks usingstandard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere tohealth standards Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate forthis position has: At least 18 years old One year line cookexperience in a restaurant Verbal and written communication isessential Ability to read, speak, and understand the Englishlanguage in order to communicate with guests and take orders Basicmathematical skills Ability to stand and work in confined spacesfor long period of time.
