The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen environment. Experience as a Dietary Aide or in food service is a plus but not required.
