In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. Your expertise in food handling and preparation will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Assist in menu planning and development with the culinary team. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Handle food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Skills Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience working in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and menu planning. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
