The Chef has a greatkitchen team and you are someone who contributes to that greatnesswhile learning new skills and developing your expertise. In therole of Cook you will:

- If the LeadCook, you are a role model in the kitchen for all other staff andhave mastered their jobs and are able to train or assist them asneeded.
As a Line Cook, you know how to prepare delicious highquality food for restaurant and/or banquet guests based onestablished guidelines and do so every day. If a Pantry/Prep Cook,you are responsible for all cold food items prepared in thekitchen, such as salads, cold appetizers, desserts, sandwiches,salad dressings, etc., so you have a major contribution to everymeal. And, if the Breakfast Cook, you help our guests start theirday with a hot meal and a smile

Anticipate problems and ask for management assistant asneeded. Job Requirements Depending on the role, 1 (year forPantry/Prep) to 5 years (for Lead) of prior cooking experience in ahotel kitchen or related field preferred with banquet, fine dining,and line experienced required for certain roles. Culinary trainingin a college setting preferred. Physical requirements include theability to use various pieces of kitchen equipment efficiently andsafely. This job must perform medium work
- exerting up to 50pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of forcefrequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwisemove objects. The ability to stand for long periods of time withoutsitting or leaning. The ability to bend, stretch, twist or reachwith your body and arms, ability to work under variabletemperatures and noise levels. Near Vision
