• The Restaurant At The Armory 145 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14620 TRATA is conducting a search for an experienced PM Line Cook/Expo.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and plate a variety of dishes, including meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other foods, along with appropriate garnish/accompaniments to TRATA’s standards
• Ensure all food items comply with portion size and quality standards
• Complete prep work before the start of dining service
• Properly wrap, store, date, and rotate perishable items
• Maintain proper inventory of line items needed for shift
• Make sure orders are complete and delivered to guests at the correct temperature
• Taste items to determine accuracy of preparation
• Assist outside expo in garnishing and plating
• Act as a line of defense to ensure consistent food preparation and plating before it leaves the kitchen

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of three years of experience in a high-paced kitchen
• Basic skills in reading, speaking and listening
• Must be able to read and follow recipes
• Must be able to perform essential functions to TRATA’s standard with reasonable accommodation(s)
• Must be able to prepare orders in a timely manner PM Weekday & Weekend Availability.
