The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a café or restaurant setting, and possess a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in the kitchen. Your ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers with care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including regular cleaning of workstations and equipment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Follow all health and safety regulations while preparing food. Experience Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or grocery store setting is preferred. Familiarity with Sqare POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality food that delights customers.
