(Not the Individuals Qualifications) 1. High School Diploma or GED. 2. Food service experience preferred. 3. Bilingual preferred. 4. Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people within the facility. 5. Must present PPD test within 30 days upon hire and then annually upon expiration. 6. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Washes hands before entering kitchen at handwashing sink. 2. Opens up kitchen and prepares kitchen for the day. 3. Sets up the dining room for each meal. 4. Prepares and serves lunch and dinner (This also includes fixing dinner holds at the end of each seating). Serves food to all residents in a friendly and efficient manner. 5. Correctly prepares all food served following recipes and special diet orders and as directed by Food Service Manager. Ensures all food is at the correct temperature BEFORE and DURING service. 6. Makes “To-Go” Lunches and bags bread. 7. Fills orders for Units, when necessary. 8. Washes and fills Unit pitchers and water coolers each day. 9. Ensures beverages are prepared prior to each meal. 10. Prepares food packages when necessary. 11. Brings food supplies up from downstairs when needed. 12. Brings up and stocks elevator with paper products when needed. 13. Cleans up kitchen after each meal. Hours Sun-Mon 11am-7pm, Tues 2pm-7pm Wed/Thurs 2p -7p, Fri/Sat 6a-2p
