Job Description:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals for our residents in accordance with dietary requirements and facility standards. You will ensure that meals are served in a timely and safe manner, creating a positive dining experience that supports the health and well-being of our residents. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and dining areas according to health and safety standards. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices. Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed and ensuring proper stock rotation.

Full-Time and Part-Time Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and every other weekend Must be flexible to work both shifts between 6 am – 7:30 pm The role may require working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet the dietary needs of residents.
Rate:
$18.00 to $19.25/hourly
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably with large-scale food preparation is a plus. Previous experience in an assisted living or healthcare facility is highly desirable. Familiarity with preparing meals for special dietary needs and restrictions (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic, etc.). Culinary experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High school Diploma/GED required. Passion for serving seniors.
