Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu and recipes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and delicious food in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
• Monitor food quality and presentation
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during meal service
• Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
