As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, ensuring that each dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Stay updated on menu changes and seasonal offerings, incorporating creativity into pizza preparation. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting, with a focus on pizza preparation preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and knife skills is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere. Previous experience in a dietary department or food service role is a plus but not required.
