Here you will work out of our kitchen, executing the preparation and creation of our beautiful charcuterie boards and flatbreads, sandwiches, and more casual food items. •

Kitchen Operations:

Your primary role is to handle kitchen operations, keeping yourself and staff accountable for creating beautiful charcuterie boards, sandwiches, flatbreads, and apps made to menu specifications, and delicious cocktails, both on a small scale for our daily customers and on a large scale for our events. Such duties include, but are not limited to: o Assist Tasting Room Manager in ordering food inventory so that all ingredients are stocked for service, and communicate with vendors o Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times o Ensure the utmost quality of food being served to patrons o Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and bar and ensuring that staff are maintaining such standards o Ensure staff are following health and safety protocols involving food and beverage handling and equipment use. o Set kitchen organization and storage standards and processes that ensure First in First Out methods are adhered to and all staff follow such procedures. o Working with upper management to develop and maintain a successful food and beverage menu. • Team Player – Understanding that Adirondack Winery is a small business and as such, all employees must be prepared to jump in as needed on a variety of tasks with the well-being of the company as the goal. At certain times of the year, you may be called upon to represent Adirondack Winery at off-site events or work in other areas of the business to accommodate business needs.
