Line Cook/Prep Cook The Harvest Restaurant 4 Cronin Road, Queensbury, NY 12804 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to our menu specifications. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with meal preparation for catering events as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adapt when necessary. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when needed. Experience Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and experience with meal preparation are essential.
