Job Skills and Qualifications

• Able to prepare stocks, sauces and other food items using standard recipes

• Assumes responsibility for efficiently and effectively preparing hot food items for domestic flights
• Cook food from raw to finished state
• Prepares hot food promptly and in compliance with kitchen ready times and flight schedules
• Cooks a variety of main course (Sauces, Proteins, Starches and Vegetables) items involving long preparation times
• Assumes responsibility for quality of meals prepared and complies with meal specifications required by airlines
• Follows airline specification when preparing all food items
• Works in accordance with FDA and HACCP food handling standards
• Assist with menu presentation
• Assumes other related duties as required

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
• Must be a team player, with ability to work flexible schedule
