• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for new pizza offerings.
• Must be able to make dough and use a mixer
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that each pizza meets quality expectations. Skills
• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting, preferably with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare various types of pizzas using different techniques.
• Knowledge of menu planning and dietary considerations for diverse customer needs.
