Description Scheduled times could vary, however usual shifts range as followed: Monday 2pm-9pm Thursday 2pm-9pm Friday 2pm-10pm Saturday 10am-2pm, 2pm-10pm Sunday 9am-2pm, 2pm-8pm We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient preparation of high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
Assist in catering events, preparing large quantities of food as required.
Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen.
Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
