AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic teammember to immediately fill the role of Cook, 1st Shift, Full-time.

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday with NO evenings,NO weekends and NO holidays. Duties & Responsibilities:

Please customers byproviding a pleasant dining experience Assemble, combine, and cookingredients Maintain a sanitary kitchen Attend to the detail andpresentation of each order Place and expedite orders Prepareingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping,mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients Complete hotmeal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, andbroiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating coldingredients Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safetyprocedures Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation ofall food items Stores leftovers according to established standardsContribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration withthe team

Requirements:

2 or more years of cooking experience toinclude food preparation Strong working knowledge of foodpreparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitationpractices Exceptional food presentation skills Familiarity withgeneral kitchen equipment and appliances Strong work ethic and highenergy level
