The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, ensuring that each dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow while adhering to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes. Cook pizzas in accordance with customer orders, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing side dishes. Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing cash transactions. Experience in cash handling is preferred, particularly in a retail or food service environment. Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail math can be beneficial. Culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza preparation and cooking techniques. Previous experience in food service or bussing is a plus, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
