Job Overview:

We are seeking a culinary skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook with a very flexible schedule to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation and assisting in the kitchen to ensure smooth operations. Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and guidelines
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
• Follow dietary guidelines and restrictions when preparing meals
• Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste
• Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food industry setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
