Line Cook – Experienced LeBus East Falls Restaurant 4201 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129 Overview We are seeking an experienced. dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. We need experience in sauté, fry, & cold. Good culinary skills, knife skills, speed along with being a good communicator. You will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating proteins. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Follow proper food handling techniques and maintain hygiene standards. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specification. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and equipment usage. Strong knife skills for efficient food preparation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members. Familiarity with dietary department standards is a plus.
