DescriptionThe
- Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA
- is looking for a
- Food Service Assistant
- to help prepare and serve nutritious meals to children and families in our programs.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with meal prep and serving following safety and nutrition guidelines
- Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
- Ensure food is properly stored and handled
- Work closely with the
- Food Service Coordinator, Child Care Director, and Program Director
- to meet program needs
- Help track food inventory and restock supplies.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
- Food service experience
- (preferred)
- ServSafe Certification
- (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to complete
- clearances
- and required child care
- trainings.
- Ability to lift
- 20 pounds
- and perform kitchen-related tasks
