Ensure meals are palatable, appetizing, and served at the correct temperature. Oversee the tray line and serve meals as necessary. Inspect special diet trays to ensure accuracy. Prepare and serve nutritional bedtime snacks. Ensure appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with each meal. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and therapeutic diets. Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control procedures. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
