Banquet and Line Cook Holiday Inn & Suites Beaufort, SC 2225 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the culinary field, particularly within the restaurant or food service industry. As a Banquet Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals for various events, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will contribute to the overall success of our banquet operations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets and special events, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service during events. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation based on dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Qualifications Proven experience in culinary roles, preferably within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions is a plus. Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar kitchen role is desirable but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$15.00 – $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
