Experienced Pizza Maker Anjos Pizza and Pasta Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Overview We are seeking skilled and passionate Pizza Makers to join our local family restaurant. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in a fast paced pizza making environment and a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pizzas and pastas that meet our family’s long history of providing food with a passion and culinary excellence. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for culinary arts. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cooking tasks. Experiment with new recipes or techniques to enhance menu offerings. Experience Previous experience in pizza making, kitchen prep mandatory. Familiarity with Italian food a plus but not necessary. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. Culinary training or certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are required.
