As our cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, preparing mouthwatering meals that delight our customers. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your culinary skills while interacting with our counter customers.   Pine Lakes Area of Myrtle Beach

• Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday, 7 AM
• 2 PM (with occasional night and weekend catering)

• Compensation:

• $18 per hour

• Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Southern-inspired breakfast and lunch dishes in a timely manner.
• Execute short order cooking with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and delicious food for our guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Engage with customers at the counter, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a short order cook or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Southern cooking techniques and flavors preferred, but will train.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends for catering events.
