# Short Order Cook Job Description## OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and efficient Short Order Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The primary responsibilities include preparing high-quality burgers, sandwiches, and chicken wings in a timely manner while maintaining excellent food safety and quality standards.## Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook burgers, sandwiches, and chicken wings according to menu specifications and customer preferences
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and toasters safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Manage inventory and restock ingredients as needed during shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
• Handle special customer requests and dietary accommodations when necessary
• Follow recipes and preparation techniques to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.## Qualifications
• Previous experience as a short order cook or in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
