Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist chefs with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in catering events as required, supporting the dietary department with special meal preparations. Skills Proficiency with kitchen tools and equipment, including knives and other food preparation devices.
