Line Cook Embassy Suites Gatlinburg Resort Gatlinburg, TN 37738 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating proteins. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, fryers, and ovens. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation. Skills Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation. Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a busy restaurant setting. Experience in culinary arts or previous line cook experience is mandatory. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines is a plus. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight guests.
