This position will do the final clean and detail of vehicles and will work on the janitorial side when needed. Position Description Using standard cleaning methods, prepares automotive vehicles for “showroom” clean condition. This involves cleaning windows, upholstery, mirrors, carpet, interior paint touch ups, and assisting in alignment processes on vehicles. Cleaning offices, bathrooms, and occasional facility projects (interior and exterior). Conditions and Equipment A. Work conditions – Workshop environment. Hot/cold/dusty. No air conditioning. Employees will wash vehicles inside/outside of the building as needed. B. Equipment operation – Work with (but not limited to) various cleaning agents, scissors, air powered tools, cordless drill, razor knife, air paint buffer, paint brush, vacuum, lawn equipment, and pressure washer. C. Respirator equipment in accordance with Company respiratory protection program as needed. D. Must be able to reach, kneel, bend, stand, stoop, twist and not be afraid of heights. Capable of working in tight spaces. Be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Requirements A. Education – HS diploma/GED preferred. Must be able to read and write. B. Experience is not required. Must be able to read a tape measure. C. Strong attention to detail. D. Previous Workshop experience is a plus. Previous cleaning or “detailing” automobiles is a plus. Must follow instructions, have a good attitude and strong work ethic. E. Must be willing to work overtime each month on the last full weekend of the month, and occasional overtime to meet delivery deadlines. F. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) certification (physical) paid for by the company.
