Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Boat Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining the appearance of boats to ensure they look their best for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, wax, and polish boat exteriors and interiors Clean and treat surfaces such as fiberglass, stainless steel, vinyl, glass, and wood Vacuum, shampoo, and treat upholstery and carpets Apply protective coatings and finishes as needed Maintain detailing equipment and products in clean, organized condition Ensure work is completed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment Assist with loading/unloading supplies and customer interactions as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in detailing (boats, cars, or similar) preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctuality required Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
