JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Overview:
A Boat Detailing Specialist is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and maintaining the appearance of boats and watercraft. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that boats are presented in pristine condition, enhancing their aesthetics and protecting their surfaces. The Boat Detailing Specialist must possess a keen eye for detail, be skilled in various cleaning and polishing techniques, and have a thorough understanding of the materials and surfaces commonly found in boats.
Key Responsibilities:
Boat Cleaning:
Thoroughly clean and wash the exterior and interior of boats, including hulls, decks, cabins, windows, and carpets. Remove dirt, grime, salt deposits, and other contaminants.
Polishing and Waxing:
Apply specialized polishes and waxes to restore shine and protect boat surfaces. Buff and polish fiberglass, metal, wood, and other boat materials.
Upholstery and Carpet Cleaning:
Clean, shampoo, and condition boat upholstery, vinyl seats, and carpets. Address any stains or blemishes to restore their appearance.
Teak Restoration:
Clean, sand, and reseal teak wood surfaces to maintain their natural beauty and longevity.
