Maintenance Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager the fleet detailer is responsible for performing thorough cleaning, restoration, and finishing of Company tractor andtrailer to produce a show-quality cleanliness and polish. Detailing will be performed on both interior and exterior.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Consistently and continually provide vehicle wash, wax, interior vacuuming, interior polish, window washing mirror and trim cleaning and tire cleaning.
• Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products to provide a professional inspection and attention to cleanliness.
• Vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery, and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains.
• Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost- effective manner.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment is essential.
• Ability to meet required deadlines.
• Previous Experience preferred.
