General Summary:

Undergeneral supervision, responsible for completing cosmeticinspections, final quality inspections, as well as vehiclecleaning, paint touch-up, wet sanding, and buffing of CarMax used,new, and customer vehicles according to CarMax standards. On an asneeded basis, responsible for Reconditioning Associate andReconditioning Associate I duties including but not limited to,zone maintenance, prep for delivery, vehicle receiving, inventoryscanning, vehicle movement (both on and off lot), basic vehicledetailing including car wash, wash bay, interior cleaning/vacuumingand exterior cleanliness.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute standardized work processes as defined at established pacetime Participate in problem solving and continuous improvementactivities with team Participate in training of new associates withguidance of Reconditioning Associate Lead Perform various cosmeticreconditioning, cleaning and repair processes including, but notlimited to: Paint touch up, wet sanding and buffing according toCarMax standards Complete Cosmetic Inspections Complete FinalQuality Inspections Ensure work place cleanliness and organizationin accordance with CarMax 5S standards Identify defects and mostappropriate repair methods according to CarMax standards Provideauction support Drive vehicles on and off lot Provide outstandingcustomer service at all times Complete duties as assigned by

Position requires the followingpre-requisites and ability: Complete all training on-line andhands-on, including KRONOS Training for Hourly AssociatesAccountable to Associate 1 Competency Model Meet ReconditioningAssociate and Reconditioning I Performance Standards Successfulcompletion of Reconditioning Associate, Reconditioning Associate Iand II Workstation Certifications Read, interpret and transcribedata in order to maintain accurate records Perform multiple dutiesin a high-energy, fast-paced environment Perform manual tasks at aspecific pace for a specific period of time Lift objects that weighas much as 50lbs Speak and listen effectively in dealing withcustomers/associates, both in person and over the phone CompleteCarMax provided training in all functional areas of the inventoryprocess, allowing for cross-training and full coverage of theinventory and detail area

Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoorenvironment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclementweather conditions. Walking or standing for extended periods oftime.
