Exton, PA Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Automotive Lot Attendant / Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot, as well as ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, detailed, and prepared for sale or customer delivery. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in presenting vehicles in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

The Automotive Lot Attendant / Detailer has the following responsibilities: Organize and arrange vehicles on the lot, ensuring they are properly displayed and accessible. Keep the lot clean and free of debris, including sweeping and trash removal. Assist with the rotation of vehicles for optimal lot organization and visual appeal. Monitor the lot for any damage or maintenance needs, reporting issues to management promptly. Clean and detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and applying cleaning agents to surfaces. Clean windows, wheels, tires, and engine compartments to ensure vehicles are in showroom condition. Perform minor touch-ups and ensure the vehicles’ appearance meets the company’s high standards. Ensure all vehicles are prepped and ready for customer delivery, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure when needed. Assist with the staging of vehicles for test drives or customer appointments. Ensure that vehicles are ready for inspection by sales staff, customers, or management. Communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure that vehicles are prepared on time for sale or delivery. Assist with vehicle deliveries and parking, ensuring vehicles are safely and securely stored. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to inventory organization or assisting with dealership events.

Requirements:

The Automotive Lot Attendant / Detailer should have the following skills, education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in automotive detailing, lot maintenance, or a similar field is preferred but not required. Ability to operate basic automotive equipment, including car wash systems and vacuums. Strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping vehicles in top condition. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of automotive care, cleaning products, and detailing techniques. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
