The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to our food service operations, supporting both our culinary staff and the overall hospitality experience we provide to our guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and surrounding kitchen spaces. Help with bussing tables during peak times to support the dining experience. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in banquet setups and cleanups as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following instructions from cooks and supervisors. A team player with good communication skills who can contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere. Willingness to assist with various tasks beyond dishwashing, including food preparation and bussing as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
