Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate methods and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas. Follow food handling safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organized workspace by properly storing clean items. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
