We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment after each meal service
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized throughout the day
- Assist with food preparation and help with meal setup
- Load and unload dishwashers efficiently
- Restock kitchen supplies and maintain a well-stocked inventory
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that all dishes and equipment are sanitized and ready for use
- Maintain a clean and organized dish room
- Perform other duties as required by management
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a food service or catering setting
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Physical stamina to lift heavy trays and equipment
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Prior experience with bussing tables and helping with meal setup
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
