Dishwasher/Prep Cook Rose Vineyards and Winery 94 -2 Valley Road, North Branford, CT 06471 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment As well as completing food prep work. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food and hospitality, and who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Your contributions will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Applicants must have reliable transportation to work and understand English. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly. Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations. Support banquet and catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Help maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
