$28.7K – $33K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Reports To Chef/Sous Chef Job Summary Ensure Machine is Set Up Properly in Morning. Trash Emptied, Trash Cans Cleaned. Assist in Any Prep directed by Chef. Silverware Soak properly prepared. Dishes stacked and put away appropriately, Dish Area clean and safe. Activities & Responsibilities Primary Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Prime and Pearl Inspect and clean, and maintain food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Knows and complies consistently with the restaurant’s standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of dishware at line stations to support a smooth service period. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption. Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Closes the kitchen following the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement. Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant. Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Supplemental Wash all dishes to sanitary level, adhere to all local health codes Place all dishes in proper place after washing and drying Set up sanitary buckets each shift and , maintain throughout shift (Every 2 Hours) Ensure all trash is taken out hourly into the proper container to Back Dock Area, Insure Lids are Closed.
