We are seeking a dependable and dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to join our culinary team at Colliers Reserve Country Club. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, supporting our chefs and staff to deliver exceptional service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently load, operate, and unload commercial dishwashing equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishware, cookware, and utensils Assist with general cleaning tasks in the kitchen including countertops, floors, and storage areas Perform light prep work as directed by the Sous Chef, including peeling, chopping, and basic food preparation Support kitchen staff during busy service times, ensuring smooth operations Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards Receive and store supplies properly, ensuring proper stock rotation Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends, mornings, and evenings Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
