The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours. Dispose of waste properly and help keep the kitchen organized and tidy. Participate in cleaning duties outside of dishwashing as required by management. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
