The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, allowing our chefs to focus on food preparation and service. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required, supporting cooks and chefs during busy service periods. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with catering by preparing necessary items for service. Support bussing staff by clearing tables and assisting with resetting dining areas as needed. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines for food handling to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus. Knowledge of proper food handling practices to ensure safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
